Congratulations to the 5th and 6th grade Spelling Bee Champion 5th Grader Letti Persig!!!!!! Winning word was "disguise" She will join 7th and 8th grade champion Aubrey Olstead on Feb 11th at the Regional meet in Mt. Iron competing against other schools. Winner of that Bee goes to the National Spelling Bee in Washington DC!!! Great job!!!

Nashwauk High School's Spartan Angling fall semester final trip number 3 of 3! Crappiefest at a local lake with lots of fish caught and released. Many firsts with species caught, learning electronics, and new techniques. It’s a joy to teach kids to fish and keeping the youth fishing cycle going. Filet tomorrow and fish fry Friday!
